Who should get it

  • Customers who started checkout and have not completed payment

Who must not get it

  • Customers who completed payment
  • Customers who cannot receive follow-up emails

Extra checks before sending

  • Check payment has not completed.
  • Check the saved checkout URL is safe to use.
  • Check there is no active refund or payment dispute.

Send limits

  • One follow-up email in 24 hours
  • Three follow-up emails in seven days

What we count afterwards

  • Email sent

Developer notes

  • Never send if payment completed.
  • Use a saved checkout link only after security review.
