How we calculate this
- First we count how many customers match the email.
- Then we remove people we are not allowed to email.
- Then we hold back a small test group who do not receive the email.
- Then we estimate how many people open, click, and buy or take the action.
- The most important number is the extra result compared with people who were not emailed.
- This helps avoid counting sales that would have happened anyway.
